Assign user rights

Overview

CheckPad allows assignment of user rights to different accounts of a study/site. Depending on the roles, users have corresponding rights to access and perform functions for study/site

List of users lists the users and their roles in the study

Accessing the list

There are two ways to access the List of users:

  • Method 1: From the main menu select Task > Study Setup > User

  • Method 2: From the 'Build Study' dialogue select 'View' in Assign User role

Page Layout

The Users List layout has the following component: 

  1. Pagination if the number of users exceed 10
  2. Search users by userID
  3. Add users into the study
  4. List of users, each row corresponding to one user and user details
  5. Action buttons to perform the following tasks:
    1. View user
    2. Change user information
    3. Remove user
    4. Recover removed user

Assign new user to current study

Access the dialogue

There are 2 ways to access the dialogue to assign new user:

  • Method 1: From list of users select 
  • Method 2: From the Build Study selects the plus icon to assign user

Assign rights to users in a study

  • Select the role for the newly created account
  • Tick the checkbox

Assign rights to sites

  • Users need to select the current working environment to be sites then perform the same actions as for an user in a study


Updating roles of assigned users in a study

  1. Access the list of users screen
  2. Click the icon for updating user () of the corresponding account
  3. Select the role of the account
  4. Choose Submit to confirm

Remove user

  1. Access the list of users screen
  2. Click the icon for removing user () of the corresponding account
  3. Choose Submit to confirm

Recover removed user

  1. Access the list of users screen
  2. Click the icon for recovering user () of the corresponding account
  3. Choose Submit to confirm
