Overview

After the study is finished, data manager or study director has the following options to stop changes to the data for the entire study: 

  • Freezing the study changes the study's status to 'Frozen'. In this status, only viewing data and interacting with Discrepancy Notes and exporting data are allowed
  • Locking the study changes the study's status to 'Lock'. In this status, only viewing data and exporting data are allowed

Freezing the study

Freezing the study is conducted on the Build Study page:

  1. Choose status "Frozen"
  2. Choose "Save Status"

Lock study

Locking the study is conducted on the Build Study page:

  1. Choose status "Locked"
  2. Choose "Save Status"

Switch study back to available status

To remove the 'Locked' status on the 'Build Study' page:

  1. Choose status "Available"
  2. Choose "Save Status"
