Schedule or Update Visit

Overview

Data Capture of a study subject is data entry for visits at different points of the study. 

In each visit, the protocol requires collection of information via that visit (visit CRF)

CheckPad requires user to schedule that visit before entering data into that visit

Data fields of a visit

Field	Required?	Meaning	Filling instructions
Study Subject ID		ID of study subject to be scheduled	Manually entered Can be automatically selected based on how visit is scheduled

Location			Default value is the location of the current study or site

Schedule visit

Steps to schedule a visit includes:

1. Accessing the 'Schedule Visit' page
2. Fill in visit's information. Can input information/schedule a maximum of 5 visits in one scheduling session
3. Choose 'Proceed to Enter Data' to finish scheduling

After finishing, the system will redirects user to the data entry screen for the first visit in the schedule.

There are many ways to schedule a visit for a study subject, depending on the scheduling method there are certain automatically filled value in a scheduling dialogue.

Scheduling for visit from subject matrix

From the subject matrix screen, select 'Not Scheduled' visit. Values such as Study Subject ID and Study Visit Definition which has been filled based on the position of the visit in Subject Matrix.

Scheduling a visit from Enter Data Page

Upon viewing study subject information or entering data for scheduled visits, user can schedule next visits. Study Subject ID is automatically filled in according to the current study subject in the Enter Data page.

CheckPad allows scheduling of visits after creating study subject.

This method of scheduling visits is similar to scheduling visit from 'Enter Data' page. Study Subject ID is automatically filled in according to the current study subject in the Enter Data page. 

Automatically schedule visits via rules system

Update scheduled visits

CheckPad allows user to update scheduled visits. To update scheduled visits user needs to:

1. Access visit in Enter Data page
2. Select the Edit button with the data field to be updated
3. Fill in the new value
4. Click 'Done' if the field if of type date or hit "Enter" if the field is of type location.
