11. Remove a CRF/Visit/Subject


Only data managers can Remove a CRF/Visit/Subject.

After you Remove a CRF/Visit/Subject, the status of the CRF/Visit/Subject such as Locked, Frozen, Signed, and Verified are reset.

Remove a CRF


Go to any CRF except for the Removed CRFs → the system displays a Remove button.



After you Remove successfully,

  • The CRF has a Removed status ()
  • All statuses of CRF including Locked, Frozen, Signed, and Verified are reset

Remove a Visit 


Go to any Vist except for the Removed Visits → the system displays a Remove button.


After you Remove a Visit: 

  • The Visit has a Removed status ()
  • All CRFs in this Visit have Auto_Removed statuses ()
  • All statuses of CRF/Visit including Locked, Frozen, Signed, and Verified are reset.


Remove a Subject 


Data manager can remove any Subjects in case Subject have "Available" status

There are two ways to Remove a Subject :

  1. From the Subject Matrix screen
  2. On the Subject Information screen

Option 1: Remove a Subject from the Subject Matrix screen. Click on the  icon on the Actions column.


Option 2: Remove a Subject on the Subject Information screen. Click on Remove at the bottom of the page.


After you Remove successfully:

  • The Subject has a Removed status.
  • All Visits of the Subject have Auto_Removed statuses ()
  • All CRFs in all Visits have Auto_Removed statuses ()
  • All statuses of Visits/CRFs including Locked, Frozen, Signed, and Verified are reset.
