Data Entry Status
Data Entry Status is one of the most important status group of CheckPad.
Data Entry Status has the following characteristics:
- This status only has meaning when the general status of the visit CRF and visit is Availalbe
- Statuses of this group shows the current data entry status of visit and visit CRF
- The smallest unit that carries a status of this group is Visit CRF
- The data entry status of visit CRFs will be summarized to create the data entry status of those visits
- The data entry status of a visit is considered complete if data entry has one of the following statuses:
- Skipped: Skipped because of lack of data
- Completed: Data entry is completed
The data entry status in the status group includes:

Not Started | Data entry and activities relating to data entry has not been started |
Data Entry Started | Data entry has been stared |
Completed | Data Entry has been marked as completed for Visit CRF |
Skipped | Visit CRFs has been skipped due to lack of data |
Data Entry Status of Visit
Status | Meaning |

Not Scheduled | Visit has not been scheduled Data cannot be entered into an unscheduled visit |
Scheduled | Visit has been scheduled but has not had data entered All Visit Data in Not Started Status |
Data Entry Started | Data Entry has started for visit. At least 1 Visit CRF is in 'Data Entry Started' status |
Completed | Data entry for Visit has been completed. All Visit CRFs with data has 'Completed' status (at least 1 Visit CRF) |
Skipped | Visit has been skipped All Visit CRFs in visit has 'Skipped' status |
Below is a flow chart of how the status of a visit changes from initiation to completion of data entry
- Unscheduled visits will have 'Not Scheduled' Status
- After visit has been scheduled, its status will change to 'Scheduled' and all Visit CRFs in the visit will has' Not Started' status
- Once data entry for a Visit CRF has started, all visit CRF and visit will have 'Data Entry Started' status
- Once data entry is completed, visit CRF will be marked as 'Completed', or 'Skipped' if there is no data
- When all visit CRFs with data have 'Completed' as status (at minimum 1) and all visit CRFs without data have 'Skipped' as status, data entry for visit is considered complete and has status 'Completed'
- If a visit does not have any data, all visit CRFs and the visit itself will be skipped and has 'Skipped' as status
- All Visit CRFs with 'Skipped' status can have their statuses switched to 'Data Entry Started' to begin additional data entry
