2.1 Components in Homepage

The Homepage displays after you log in then select Site/Study or click on the Home tab on the main menu

What you see on the home page and the tasks available to you depends on your user Role in CheckPad

The home page is divided into four parts:

    1. Top of Page
    2. Main menu
    3. Body of page
    4. Bottom of page

Top of Page


The top of the page is the area above the main menu. It contains:

  • Welcome to Site/Study: The name of the current Site/Study
  • Support: you can click on this button to send any request of support to our support team. 
  • User Name and Role: name of the user who is currently logged on to CheckPad and the user Role he/she is assigned to in CheckPad

  • Log out: you can log out or change Site/Study or update profile when click on the Role's icon

Main Menu



In main menu, the system displays functions depending on your user role

  • Home: Wherever you are in CheckPad, click Home to go to the Homepage for the current Study or Site
  • Subject Matrix:The Subject Matrix is a table with Visit information for all Subjects in the current Study or Site. There is one Subject per row, with the Study Subject ID in the first column. The other columns are for each Visit Definition in the Study. Each cell contains a colored icon that identifies the status of each visit of the Study Subject
  • Discrepancy: Notes and Discrepancies provide note and discrepancy management capabilities to help you verify the accuracy and completeness of data in a clinical trial. Use this set of tools to raise and track issues that arise when capturing, monitoring, and managing data in a Study (such as incomplete or inaccurate data), and to facilitate communication between users (such as Clinical Research Coordinators and Monitors) to resolve these issues
  • Extract Dataset: you can create dataset with desired parameters 
  • Tasks: includes groups of some features arranged into modules. Modules and Items included in the Tasks menu depend on the permissions for your user Role. For example, if you want to set up a Study, go to Task > Build Study
  • Search Study Subject ID: User can find subjects by typing Subject's ID in the main menu
    • The system displays the Subject in Subject Matrix if it can find a matched string
    • The system displays a message if it cannot find a matched string

Body of Page


What you see in the body of the home page is based on your user Role and the action you have just performed. See more details in the 2.2 Body of Home Page

Bottom of Page


Displays information about CheckPad

  • Copyright 
  • Version 
  • Build number

The top of page, main menu, and bottom of page are fixed for every page.
