Manage Unit Dictionary
Unit Dictionary is the page to manage all units in use in CRF within EDC system.
To access the Unit Dictionary page: CRF List > Click on Unit Dictionary

Below is the interface of Unit Dictionary with 2 main components:
- Create new unit by clicking "Create New Unit" button
- New table for CRF Version
- Unit characteristics
- Unit usage status
- Unit actions
Data Fields of Unit

Viewing an Unit
To view an Unit click on the corresponding "View" button of the Unit. The detailed information of the Unit will display below that Unit.
The detailed information of the Unit includes:
- List of items using this unit and other information relating to the position of this item such as CRF, CRF version, Item Name, Description
Creating new Unit
To create a new Unit, click on "Create New Unit" (1). The interface to create a new unit will appear.
Once all the information has been provided, press "Next" to continue. Filled-in information will be checked:
- If the information does not satisfy conditions to create Unit, the system will alert the user with the error to be corrected
- If the information satisfies conditions to create Unit, new Unit will be created
Editing Unit
Checkpad allows changes to unused Units.
To access the Edit Unit functionality, Click on the "Edit" button corresponding to that unit.
After clicking the "Edit" button, the update screen will appear like the Create New CRF screen.
After clicking Save:
- Updated data that satisfies the conditions of data fields within the unit will be updated
- If there are any data that does not satisfy conditions, the system will alert the user with the error to be corrected
Delete Unit
CheckPad allows deletion of unused Units
To access the Delete Unit functionality, Click on the corresponding "Edit" button.
After accessing the Delete Unit functionality, CheckPad will display a pop-up requiring user to confirm deletion. User needs to click "OK" to confirm deletion.
